Following the announcement of a national lockdown starting in January, we can happily confirm that our practice remains open for osteopathy appointments.
Since osteopaths are regulated allied health professionals (AHP), we are regarded as essential workers, and will be able to continue to work, and look after the health and wellbeing of our patients.
Currently, the guidance for massage therapy is stricter, and unfortunately we will not be able to offer massage appointments at present. We are very sorry about this, and will continue to monitor the instructions and update with any changes.
We will continue to operate with high levels of infection control measures, as directed by the UK Government guidelines. We continue to wear PPE and carry out strict cleaning and pre-screening protocols for our patients.
Once you make an appointment, your confirmation email will also list all the important points you as the patient need to know. You’ll be asked to fill and submit a short health-screening questionnaire prior to your appointment, and invited to bring your own a towel.
Of course, if you are feeling unwell, or have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive in the past 14 days, we ask that you rearrange your appointment accordingly.
If you’re unable or prefer not to attend the practice, online appointments are still available, where we can discuss your symptoms in detail, and suggest and demonstrate various strategies and exercises to help you get better.
