COVID-19 Update

Summer 2021: Practice Open for Osteopathy & Massage Appointments

As the country eases it’s lockdown restrictions on the 19th July, we can happily confirm that our practice is open for osteopathy & massage appointments.

Following advice from Public Health England, our governing bodies and professional associations, our clinic procedures will remain in place. This includes: face coverings throughout the building, appropriate PPE, and stringent cleaning protocols.

Since osteopaths are regulated allied health professionals (AHP), we have been fortunate enough to continue to help our patients through the pandemic. However due to the close nature of our work, we need to prioritise the health and safety of both our team members and our wonderful clients.

Massage is available and for consistency through the practice, treatments will follow the same protocols as Osteopathy treatments, with appropriate PPE.

Once you make an appointment, your confirmation email will list all the important points you as the patient need to know. You’ll be asked to fill and submit a short health-screening questionnaire prior to your appointment, and invited to bring your own a towel and pay by online transfer if you prefer.

Of course, if you are feeling unwell, or have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive, or been contacted by Test & Trace in the past 14 days, we ask that you rearrange your appointment accordingly.

If you’re unable or prefer not to attend the practice, online appointments are still available, where we can discuss your symptoms in detail, and suggest and demonstrate various strategies and exercises to help you get better.

Please refer to our ‘COVID-19 infection control procedures’ for detailed information of the measures we take at the Practice to keep the risk of virus transmission to a minimum.

If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us.

We look forward to seeing you soon.
