Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue Massage
You’ll have heard the term ‘Deep Tissue Massage’ before but what actually is this technique? As the name suggests, Deep Tissue Massage works by using firm pressure to reach the deeper layers of muscle and fascia, and other connective tissues around the muscles.
Deep Tissue Massage is used to release tension, lower blood pressure and help to break down scar tissue. A strong and focused technique, it is typically used in conjunction with other techniques, and requires a deep understanding of human anatomy, and your body’s specific needs.
