Welcome to Meadowside Osteopathy.
We’re excited to help you start your journey to better health.
The short answer is – very likely, yes!
Osteopathy is a whole-body approach, so wherever you’re feeling discomfort, we look at how the whole body moves and functions to get to the root of the problem. Treatment may include hands-on techniques, exercise advice, lifestyle tweaks, and rehab plans to help you feel and move better.
Our treatments typically include:
We also offer in-house Laser Therapy and Shockwave Therapy, advanced, non-invasive treatments designed to reduce pain and accelerate tissue healing. Your osteopath may recommend these as part of your care plan when clinically appropriate.
Our team of osteopaths are highly trained healthcare professionals, each completing a 4-year Master’s degree in Osteopathy, alongside additional specialist training in a wide range of areas.
Many of our osteopaths have gone on to complete further courses in areas such as:
This means we’re able to support people of all ages, from newborns to older adults.
Our integrated, collaborative approach means you benefit from the expertise of an entire team for your health journey.
If your case is complex, or not progressing as expected, we will collaborate by coordinating a second opinion appointment within our clinic, or referring you to the right expert you need to see next.
We work with an extensive network of trusted, recommended practitioners, and can signpost you to the best team member.
We work closely with orthopaedic consultants and allied health professionals across Surrey and Hampshire, including the Joint Reaction closely linked with Spire Clare Park and Frimley Park Hospitals, as well as many other specialists.
We can issue referral letters and consultant recommendations, so your path to health is always comprehensive, effective, and expertly guided.

When you visit us, your osteopath will take the time to understand your symptoms, lifestyle, and medical history to develop a treatment plan that’s tailored to you. They will assess the area of concern, evaluating associated joints, muscles, and movement patterns, and explain the issue clearly, along with how we can address it together.
Your first appointment will be a thorough assessment where your osteopath will build a personalised treatment plan. This may include hands-on techniques, advice, and exercises to help you feel better.
Treatment often involves hands-on methods to reduce pain and improve function, with exercise recommendations to support your recovery. You’ll have access to our app with easy-to-follow exercise plans to help you stay on track with your progress.
For recent symptoms, 1 or 2 sessions might be enough to resolve them. For more long-term issues, a gradual approach is often needed, typically 4–6 appointments in the first month, with occasional follow-ups to maintain lasting results. Your osteopath will guide you every step of the way, adjusting the plan to ensure the best outcome.
Need further tests?
If we believe you’ll benefit from additional investigations (like MRI, X-ray, or blood tests), we’ll refer you to your GP or another specialist and provide a clear referral letter outlining our findings.
