We are delighted to welcome Ali to the Meadowside’s Extended Team from February onwards. Ali will be with us in clinic every Thursday!
Ali is a highly experienced Pelvic Health Physiotherapist, specialising in Mummy MOTs, postnatal recovery, and womenâs pelvic health, with over 18 years of clinical experience. She brings a warm, professional, and evidence-based approach, working closely alongside the Meadowside team to provide joined-up, holistic support for women at every stage of life â from pregnancy and postnatal recovery to menopause and beyond.
Ali holds a BSc in Physiotherapy from the University of Brighton (2007) and completed an MSc module in Advanced Clinical Practice in Pelvic Health at Brunel University (2025).
Ali regularly undertakes specialist postgraduate training to ensure her practice reflects the latest research and clinical guidelines.
Ali has extensive NHS experience, working closely with consultants, GPs, and midwives, which allows her to provide coordinated, high-quality care. She also mentors other physiotherapists and delivers workshops and talks for companies, gyms, and community groups, sharing practical, accessible education around pelvic health and postnatal recovery.
Ali provides specialist pelvic health physiotherapy, focusing on Mummy MOTs, postnatal recovery, and holistic pelvic health care. Each appointment is tailored to the individual, taking the time to fully understand symptoms, lifestyle, and goals.

Treatment may include pelvic floor assessment, abdominal and core evaluation, hands-on therapy where appropriate, exercise prescription, and practical strategies for everyday life. Ali works with each patient to ensure their postnatal body is strong, supported, and ready for daily life or returning to exercise.

Working in collaboration with Polly Powell, IBCLC â supporting breastfeeding, tongue tie, and infant feeding issues and our Paediatric & Womenâs Health Osteopath â Emily, supporting postnatal musculoskeletal recovery, infant care, and womenâs health.Â
Through our multidisciplinary approach, Ali can refer patients seamlessly within the team when additional support is needed, ensuring continuity of care. Patients benefit from a collaborative effect, where expertise from physiotherapy, osteopathy, and lactation support comes together to create tailored, holistic care plans for women and their families.Â
This approach helps address multiple needs at once, and provides the reassurance of having a coordinated support network under one roof.
