Tongue Tie and Lactation Consultant

We are delighted to collaborate with Charlotte Hughes, an experienced Tongue Tie Practitioner and Lactation Consultant. Charlotte is a Registered Midwife and IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant)  internationally recognised qualification in lactation and infant feeding and a passionate educator and guest speaker, sharing her expertise with parents and professionals across Surrey and Hampshire.

Charlotte’s own feeding journeys were never straightforward, and each one brought its own challenges. Finding the right support made such a difference to her that it became the inspiration behind her work today;  helping other families feel informed, confident, and truly supported as they find what works for them.

She knows just how overwhelming those early days and nights can be, and she’s passionate about making sure no family has to navigate them alone.

Providing expert support for families facing feeding challenges, from breastfeeding or chestfeeding difficulties and tricky bottle feeders to tongue tie concerns, Charlotte helps with everything from breastfeeding worries, bottle or mixed feeding, expressing and pumping, latch and comfort and tongue tie questions.

Charlotte's Infant Feeding Cafe

Feeding a baby isn’t always as straightforward as everyone makes it sound;  when you’re exhausted, second-guessing everything, and just want someone kind to tell you you’re doing okay, the last thing you need is a waiting list or a fee.

Charlotte will be running a completely free Infant Feeding Clinic from September.

More information coming soon.

There will be no booking, or pressure, just turn up.

Come as you are. Pyjamas under your coat, three-day-old feeding notes scribbled on your phone. Order a coffee, let your little one snooze or grizzle as they please, and chat things through.

Whether it’s latch, positioning, bottle feeding, expressing, milk supply, reflux, tongue tie or something just doesn’t feel quite right, come and have a chat.

Come as you are ; you and your baby are very welcome.
